Major changes to the VoxPublic team

Dear friends, dear partners,
We’ve been working together for several years now, through joint projects and fruitful collaborations. We’re delighted with what we’ve achieved. We’re writing to you today to share some important news about the changes that will be taking place very soon in the VoxPublic team.
After being behind the creation of our association and serving as its national delegate for eight years, Jean-Marie Fardeau has decided to retire. The word may come as a surprise when you know him, but we have no doubt that his retirement will be as intense as his active life in the service of so many causes and commitments. After a number of administrative hiccups, Jean-Marie recently been made aware that he can claim his pension on 31 December 2024. He will remain committed to our association, however, as he will be joining our Board in January.
We have anticipated this transition very carefully to guarantee the continuity and quality of our mission, and to ensure that VoxPublic continues to fulfil its commitments without interruption. We are delighted to announce that Erika Campelo, who has been part of the team since the early days of VoxPublic, will succeed Jean-Marie as the new national delegate from 2 January 2025.
VoxPublic is fortunate to be able to count on Erika. With her expertise, enthusiasm and deep commitment, she is perfectly prepared to take on this challenge. She will also be able to count on Benjamin Sourice and Laure Paradis, who have also been involved in the VoxPublic adventure since its inception, and who will continue to support our partners’ advocacy strategies and drive forward collective dynamics. In other good news, Thomas Renaux joins the team on 25 November as Communications and Projects Officer.
Big changes, but continuity, to continue and amplify the work carried out under Jean-Marie’s leadership !
