Digital interpellation platform for the French Civil Society

The new National Assembly has just been elected. With the relative majority in favor of the executive, the debates will be very lively. Citizens and associations will try to influence them, subject to an institutional crisis
On June 16, VoxPublic presented, during a new Assotech meeting, its brand new platform for questioning political decision-makers (MPs, senators, ministerial cabinets). A good thirty participants representing very diverse associations enriched the fascinating exchanges on how to use digital technology for advocacy purposes.
Since its creation, VoxPublic considers that it is strategic for civil society organizations involved in difficult issues such as discrimination, social injustice, or attacks on freedoms, to master digital tools such as platforms for questioning decision-makers, online petitions or social networks. This is why VoxPublic launched the #Assotech project in 2017, in reference to what is known as CivicTech, these digital tools aimed at developing online democratic practices. Thanks to the Assotech project, VoxPublic has promoted - within the supported associations - a better understanding and use of digital tools in their approaches to questioning political decision-makers.
It is within the framework of this project that VoxPublic is launching this platform for questioning decision-makers designed with the support of RiseFor. The partner associations of our association will have access to this new digital tool in order to facilitate their work of direct questioning of decision-makers, but also to gain visibility on social networks. It will also allow citizens to more easily open a dialogue with their deputy or senator to express their opinion, based on arguments developed by the partner association.
