Activity report 2021 : after 5 years of activity, the highlight of a successful expertise

7 avril 2022 dans dans Nos actus

VoxPublic is pleased to publish its 2021 activity report. An intense year, marked by several victories for VoxPublic partners. We wanted to highlight these victories. They show that no battle is lost in advance and that civil society can create a balance of power sufficient to impose its point of view and assert the rights of the most vulnerable, even when faced with the most powerful.

You will find the epic campaign to save 3919, the emergency number for women victims of violence, administered by feminist associations and which the government tried, in vain, to privatize. The battle for Anticor’s anti-corruption accreditation also figures prominently among the major victories of the year, as does that of the 13,000 undocumented people who will now benefit from a 50% reduction on transport tickets in the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis thanks to the action of the collective of organized residents of the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille (CHO3). Among the highlights of 2021, we also look back at the launch of the first group action against racial profiling and the #MaRueMesDroits campaign, as well as the support for the hunger strike of Anaïs, Ludovic and Philippe in Calais against the mistreatment of exiled people.

Citizen mobilization, political and media advocacy, visibility on social networks, legal action, all these strategies have been used by VoxPublic in the service of causes supported by its partners. This know-how, the fruit of five years of experience, has been shared by the team through its fieldwork and its online resource center.

In a period that is so crucial for the future, VoxPublic is proud to be at the heart of the fight against discrimination, social injustice, corruption, the defense of public freedoms and the rule of law.
