Naturally, VoxPublic will not cooperate with organisations that do not share the values we defend. VoxPublic has chosen to appeal for private donations from foundations, both based in France or abroad.
VoxPublic choses to live from its activity without resorting to public subsidies (Regional, National and European), so as to preserve its independence from public institutions.
Since its launch, VoxPublic received support from :
Open Society Initiative for Europe (OSIFE) aims to enhance civil society organisations in Europe, to play a central role in democratic life. OSIFE supported the VoxPublic creation process (from November 2015 to August 2016). After 18 months of support, OSIFE extended its contribution to VoxPublic with a three-year funding support (September 2018 - August 2021).
This Dutch Foundation is very active in the fields of education, health/support to vulnerable people as well as social justice, and has been supporting VoxPublic since 2016. Since 2018, Porticus has particularly funded VoxPublic’s actions for migrants’ rights. At the end of 2019, Porticus renewed its support with a three-year grant covering 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Foundations involved in the Civitates Project
Sixteen European foundations created a fund to support association networks who act to counter the « shrinking civic space ». 13 alliances are currently funded by Civitates. Among them, the French coalition, called L.A. Coalition (Coalition for associations’ freedoms), is moderated by VoxPublic who manage the financing granted by the foundations from january 2019 to june 2020.
Fondation pour le Progrès de l’Homme is a Franco-Swiss Foundation deeply committed to ecological and social transition issues, who decided to support VoxPublic for a three-year period, from 2018 to 2020.
ZP Foundation was created in 2007 by Catherine and Niklas Zennstrom. Niklas Zennstrom is the developer of the software Skype. The Foundation aims to support and cooperate with organisations fighting for human rights and environmental issues. Zennström Philanthropies supported VoxPublic in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
The Foundation of the British chain of natural cosmetics, supported VoxPublic in 2017 for the organisation of workshops on discriminatory identity checks.
Fondation Un Monde par Tous
This Foundation, chaired by Patrick Lescure, funds many initiatives in France and abroad in the fields of ecology, solidarity and human rights. The Foundation supported VoxPublic in 2016 and 2017.
The firm Alterethic provides financial and accounting services for VoxPublic.
The firm Audisol was chosen by the General Assembly of VoxPublic as its auditor.
